Tennis Lessons for Kids in Arlington , VA

Meet the instructors

Tate and Chase Arevalo are passionate about sharing their love for tennis with kids in Arlington, Virginia. The brothers started playing tennis at age four and have been playing at a competitive level for several years. Chase trains 30 hours a week year-round at the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) in College Park, MD, one of the premier tennis academies in the country. Tate attends Carnegie Mellon University and is majoring in Electrical & Computer Engineering. While not studying, Tate competes on the Club tennis team and provides tennis lessons in Pittsburgh and while home on holiday and summer breaks.
Through their academy and personally, the brothers have been giving back to their community since 2011 by volunteering as tennis instructors to underprivileged children in the D.C area under the supervision of USTA coaches.
In 2012, Tate and Chase started offering tennis lessons in Arlington, VA to promote the love of the sport among local kids and as a way to save for their college education. They spend most of their weekends on the courts, either playing USTA tournaments or teaching.
For the last couple of years, the brothers have been working with many boys and girls from ages 4-16, including kids with no prior experience and players on middle and high school tennis teams. All kids have shown remarkable improvement.
Their experience suggests that kids often relate more to older kids and, as Honor Roll students, they are proud to serve as role models for younger children.
Tate and Chase are happy to offer fun tennis lessons for kids in Arlington and are looking forward to working with your child.
